Any issue with actually fitting one into the end of a toy is dependent on the toy itself.

For the most part, it dries very well, you might have to push the sides in like the description says, but for the majority of uses it's something you'd probably be doing anyways.
The one thing that is kind of a pain, but not enough to tell you to not buy it, is that it has a little trouble drying at the very end of the tunnel. But if you just kinda roll your hand around the end and press in on the stick, then it'll get that last little bit of moisture. Don't press too hard, probably.
I have not treated it roughly, or dropped it, but I've used it about 7 times now and have not experienced any issues with it being unable to dry or flaking off or tearing the inside of an onahole. So it shouldn't be an issue... mostly. And if you do happen to break it, well, at the time of writing it's about $10, so you'll probably be okay.
Ultimately, if you want to dry something and you don't want to shove your fingers in with cloth, this is definitely a good buy.
